Aryeh has an avid interest in mathematics that began with MATHCOUNTS in 6th grade and has continued since. He has participated in many various math competitions, including being a 2-time AIME qualifier and high placements in other national competitions throughout middle and high school. Outside of mathematics, Aryeh is the principal bassoonist for the ESYO Symphony Orchestra and has performed at Carnegie Hall and at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall multiple times. During his remaining free time, Aryeh enjoys playing the piano, soccer, and competitive swimming.
Mihir has been intrigued by math since elementary school Math Olympiad. He has spent time as a Mathcounts competitor, during which time he co-founded VAMO, and is now coaching the Van Antwerp MS MATHCOUNTS team. Mihir also instructs Niskayuna 5th grade Math πrates, a district wide initiative to prepare 5th graders for and has worked teaching math at a Kumon center. Other than math, Mihir has a love for biology and chemistry, and leads Nisky High Science Bowl. In his free time, he studies history and plays tennis and cricket.
Arjun has always been passionate about mathematics and science. He has excelled in the International Math Contest (IMC), Mathcounts and AMC10/12, placing 3rd in the 2021 Chapter Competition and qualifying for the AIME. He is passionate about classical music and particularly enjoys playing works by Chopin and Liszt. Apart from math, Arjun enjoys chemistry, playing and watching cricket, video games and programming.
Mathematics has always been a large part of Brian’s life. He has participated in a wide array of math competitions, including the AMCs and MATHCOUNTS. He is a 2x AIME qualifier and a 2x MATHCOUNTS States qualifier. Brian also teaches math at the local CCC math club. Outside of mathematics, Brian enjoys soccer and piano.
